QCharts "Hang" on INTC Trading Halt?

I was taking a look at INTC as soon as the news came out that trading was halted. As soon as I switched my workspace to INTC, QCharts became unresponsive. I managed to change the symbol after 10-15 seconds and everything was fine again.

Is there some reason QCharts would display this type of behavior with a halted symbol? My broker's trading app was not having any problems with INTC at the same time.
