            amol,

Thanks for making us aware of the new update.

After the plugin installed correctly the configuration phase failed after I selected Interactive Broker with the message:

"Connection Name must be non-empty and unique. Press OK and enter connection name" and I cannot get beyond this error message and cancel the QuoteTrader Configuration.

I installed the plugin and see other brokerage firms available in the IB plugin?

What the the entry in the list of Brokers referred to as SIM -Similated Broker?

I thought this was perhaps the eSignal Paper broker?

You also mentioned in an earlier post that the ability to determine whether a position is currently being held and the average fill price.

Having the ability within EFS to determine if a position is currently help for an account would be a tremendous help. Any idea if and when such a feature as you mentioned earlier might be available?

            Thanks,

            Glen

              Hi Glen,

That error message is a result of a previous installation using the same name. If you either delete the plugin, uninstall it, or use the Configurator and name the second plugin a unique name, you'll be able to successfully install it.

Extending EFS to support automated trading scheduled to Q1 2008. I'm currently not aware of any details on implemantation but it will definetely let you get position status, size, average price, and access to the executions info.

maybe a silly question, but is the delay between the buy button (when i klick on the Buy) and the API decreased? I've noticed some delay. It almost looks like a freeze for 1 second...Also Esignal stops working for a second incl IB when i click a button (sell/buy)

I got the same problem with the plug in. Hopefully the new plug in solves that problem.
