Renaming chart title

Hello all,

Can someone please tell me how to rename an advanced charts title? For example if I want to see and save the daily chart for MSFT, by default it will save the chart as MSFT, D - AdvCh. I would like to be able to save or rename as anything I want.

I'm sure its possible, I just don't know how to do it.

Hi Carlton,

You have the capability to save a chart under any name you choose. Here's an example, I've saved a chart of $INDU, but I've named the chart, DELL.ach. One important thing to keep in mind is the fact that this only possible with layouts. With layouts, each window is given a unique file name hence, you can rename individual windows. If you are working with Page files, the collective of all the windows is given a file name, rather than each individual one. In a nutshell, you'll need to be working with layouts rather than pages.



You can rename the Advanced Chart by going to File, and Save As. From here, you can change to the name of the file to whatever you prefer. Hope this helps.
