Profiting from the DJIA movements.
I have been working on a formula that looks at the historical behaviour of the DJIA.
The basic premise of my strategy is to simultaneously place long and short bets with GSLs and to then close the positions when they become profitable. The formula examines the relationship between GSL breaches and 'in profit' movements of the Index.
However, as I have been developing the formula, I am wondering whether it is going somewhere or if it's nonsense.
Does anyone have any experience of trading in this manner or am I simply 'barking up the wrong tree'?
