would someone talk about the trading significance of the volume above and below the POC?

The important point about the volume being above the point of control or another word for it is VWAP volume weighted average price.
Anyway the significance is that fund managers, traders, or anyone that has to buy a large block of shares is trying to buy them below the vwap. If the stock is trading above the vwap it means that people are reaching for the stock and they want it so they are paying a premium for it. So basically the stock is in a strong position.
