  • $NDX vs NQ H4

I realized a few huge flaws in my trading strategy and have been trying to correct this. I've started doing long-term analysis then narrowing down to one minute charts. One problem I've ran into is that there isn't enough information in NQ H4 to do a proper long-term analysis. I've been using $NDX for this and realized that all analysis is more accurate on this chart then NQ H4.

Also the after hour information makes it so trendlines do not line up properly. Is it safe to perform most analysis on $NDX and have one chart open with NQ H4 for trading purposes? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I want to start from W->D->60->15->5->1

Use NQ #F it covers all the back contracts for what we are able to retreive. that should do it. And you can leave it on that symbol becasue it carries over through all contract.

Just leave your Nasdaw e-mini contract symbol on NQ #f, it just combines them all and you never have to change when the time comes. And if I may ? I would compare it to the $compq
