Hello,

It seems like I'm coming to this group for everything. Anyway, I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on writing a business plan. Now that I have fully embarked on my journey to become a professional trader I was wondering if I could get some suggestions and comments on writing a business plan.

question, and wanted to thank you for asking it.
The more I think about it, your question really is excellent!
It has been 15 years since I last wrote a business plan.
You made me realize this is something I should be doing right now. Thanks again, marc

Marc, my pleasure.

I think writing out a business plan simply gives me direction. I have recently left a job where my managers and supervisor would ensure that co-workers followed the overall business objectives. Now that I'm on my own, I realise that I have to provide myself with some kind of structure and the best way is to follow a business plan. I just didn't know how to go about it, so once again, thank you.

You may want to look at Linda Raschkes site and some recent postings by King Cambo on business plans.

Actually, I can find many sources of information. Some of very specific to trader's, and some are indirectly useful.

This lady-- (click here to see)-- for example, has some excellent information for trader's.

This link-- (click here)-- seems to have business plan information related to UK regulations-- which may or may not interest you-- that could be adapted to your needs?

You may have to purchase some of this information, or take general trading information and adapt it to your trader's businees plan, if you think it might be helpful to you. (Click here to see an example of this.)
