  • JASDAQ and OSE (Osaka Securities Exchange) Symbol Change

    Please note that the format for the JASDAQ exchange will be changing this week. Currently the JASDAQ uses a 5 character format with 0 (zero) as the last character. Starting on October 10, 2010, the 5th character will be dropped. Here is a sample of the new symbol format for JASDAQ:



    In addition, the exchange will be moving a subset of symbols currently listed on the OSE (Osaka Securities Exchange) to the JASDAQ Exchange. All the historical and intraday data will be moved to the new symbols so please update your charts, quote windows, formulas, etc., accordingly. Here is a sample of some of the symbols that will be moving:

    If you are currently subscribing to the OSE, you will need to add the JASDAQ to your account in order to continue following these symbols. Visit Account Maintenance to make changes to your account. You’ll need your username and password to log in:
