We have been informed that the Tokyo Grain Exchange will be closing next year. Trading on this exchange will cease at market close on February 8, 2013. Effective the following business day Februrary 12, 2013 (Feb. 11 is a public holiday), the products traded on the Tokyo Grain Exchange will either migrate to other exchanges or be delisted.
Soybeans, Azuki Red Beans, Corn and Raw Sugar Futures will migrate to the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM). To subscribe to this service please visit Account Maintenance.
Arabica Coffee will be delisted and will no longer be available. Rice Futures (currently traded on both the Tokyo Grain Exchange and Kansai Commodity Exchange) will trade exclusively on the Kansai Commodity Exchange as of February 12, 2013. Currently we do not carry the Kansai Commodity Exchange but are looking into the possibility of making it available.
