  • Bid/ask data not being stored on tick servers

Due to a severe set of technical issues, we have turned off the storage of bid/ask data on our domestic tick servers. This means that when you make a T&S or intraday chart request, a portion of the bid/ask data will be missing. This only impacts our storage of this information as it is still being sent in real-time.

This impacts Forex data (where we only send bid/ask data), US Equities and Futures and a handful of European Futures (many of which are closed for the day).

We will update this thread as soon as we know more.

    Thank you.

Still ongoing but we do have a server offline storing this data so every attempt will be made to restore the data on all servers over the weekend for Monday's trading day.

    Thanks.

We have restored bid/ask quotes on our Boxborough tickservers to service our Forex users. A small number of previously downed servers have been placed back online with data available from the point of recovery. For some this may cause longer load times for Tick intervals with some historical data missing. Our Engineers continue to pursue all avenues in order to resolve this issue.

      Thank you,
      Ray P.

We are in the process of restoring our db's from a master that successfully stored all the data today. Should be OK by Sunday a.m. (PT).

        Sorry for the inconvenience.

We have now successfully recovered enough servers to support all user connections. All data has been restored except for approximately a 30 min period where bid/ask data was not being stored (around 10am pt on 9/21)) but all trades should be present.

If you see any gap in your charts (aside from the b/a period of time referenced above), please make sure you exit and restart eSignal so you get routed to a good server. If any problems persist, please let us know.

          Thank you for your patience.
