Please read the following Interactive Data Client Advisory.
On April 9, 2014, there were widespread media reports of a security flaw, referred to as “Heartbleed,” in the OpenSSL technology used to secure many types of transmissions over the internet. OpenSSL technology is a global standard, and a number of Interactive Data systems and services employ OpenSSL technology. Interactive Data is actively reviewing all of our web-based systems to identify whether there are any potential vulnerabilities related to this security flaw. We will be taking immediate action to remediate any vulnerable systems identified, and will provide additional instructions to clients as necessary. We expect to provide an update by end of day Wednesday, April 16th, and will provide more specific information to affected clients as available.
Information security is of critical importance to Interactive Data. The confidentiality, integrity and availability of Interactive Data information, systems and networks, as well as data entrusted to us by our customers and business partners, is of the utmost importance.
Thank you,
