Beginning Friday of this week, (July 11, 2008), our clients will be able to add the LME Steel service to_their Workstation / eSignal / QT / Market-Q account(s)._ This will be available both real-time and delayed.
This data has been available for a couple of months as a pilot program, but the LME is splitting it out to be a stand alone service. This is very similar to what they did for the LME Plastics service. This is a symbol, entitlement and exchange listed change. The history will be moved for those instruments that have previously been associated with the LME.
There are 2 grades of steel that the LME trades that will be part of this service at this time.
Mediterranean Steel Billet. eSignal root FM**
Far East Steel Billet. eSignal root FF**
