Can I use C instead of C++, C# or VB

As a Microsoft Visual C developer I was hoping to develop an eSignal application using the C programming language. Are there any header files, precompiled libraries and code samples that will give me a head start in this direction. Your developer Reference Guide implies that this is available. Thank you.

I haven't used C in about 8 years, but theoritically you should be able to it. The Desktop API is a COM reference, which I don't know how to deal with in C. Unfortunately, all of the samples are on the File Share, none of which are written in C. If you can get it to work, it would be great if you could place a copy of that there.
