  • Writing VB.Net app using Desktop API

I am a new Desktop API user looking for Visual Basic.NET sample code that uses the API to get realtime eSignal data. I have downloaded the Broker sample application code from eSignal but I get two compile errors at lines 264 and 265.

I am building a simple application that uses a ticker symbol and looks up qualitative information downloaded from Valueline and IDB into Access database tables. For stocks that meet criteria, I will then access eSignal to get realtime market information (e.g., price, volume, change).

Any help or advice is very much appreciated.

There are at least 2 other applications on the File Share that should show you what you are looking to do. Here it is.

Thanks, Robi. The T&S app helped me accomplish my goal. Maybe someone could fix the Broker app so tht it compiles cleanly under VB.Net.

      Thanks again for your help.

Yeah, the Broker app is in VB 6.0.

Glad you were able to get what you needed accomplished.
