about FOREX layout

Hi, i am using ActiveX to develop an application to get data from ESIG in VB. and i found it can get data only when ESIG is set to FOREX layout. If i choose other layouts, it can not get any data from ESIG. Is it right? Where to get data, from ESIG itself ( i mean the main window), or from ESIG Data Manager?
