  • Multiplier 100 on BasicQuote.lBidSize/lAskSize for stocks ?

    Hi,

I experienced plenty of odd lot sizes on BasicQuote.lBidSize/lAskSize for MSFT (5, 72, 34 ...) as markets opened.

I rarely get odd lot sizes on lLastSize (= trade size).

It appears that lBidSize and lAskSize have to multiplied by 100, but lLastSize not (just guessing).

Can someone please confirm or make corrections if necessary?

    Regards

Bid and Ask sizes are the number of lots on each side. For example, in the Time and Sales window, you will see a "Size" of 6x3, meaning 6 100 share lots as bidded to 3 100 share lots asked. The last size FOR TRADES is the actual number of shares traded, not lots. If LastSize is for quotes as well, you will get both. Please view a Time and Sales window in eSignal and it will make sense.

There is not a defect that needs corrected.
