axtiveX entitlement not working

  • axtiveX entitlement not working

    I have the entitlement according to customer service but when I query the esignal.ISEntitled flag it returns false.

    Also when I click the Help/About/ActiveX Info button from the main menu in eSignal I get this text in the popup box

    *** AppString:
    *** AXQ (ActiveX Developer) found
    *** Username: ************ (my username was here)
    *** They do not match.
    *** No matching known AppString
    *** ActiveX is not entitled

    Any ideas would really help I'm getting quite frustrated.

    still waiting

    I am still waiting for a reply from eSignal. As a warning to all who are thinking of using eSignal. I have emailed support twice about this issue and it has been 1 week with no response. I cancled my subscription this morning and am going to try to get my $200 back.

    I would be understanding if they responded with a "we are working on your issue..." for example, but I have gotten no reponse.

    Anyway just my experince it seems different from most everyone else so take it how you like.

    As a side note to anyone interested I am not some novice trader who does not know how to program. I integrated Microsoft Excel with MatLab, and LabView using ActiveX at my previous job. I say this to explain how frustrated I am with eSignals lack of response to my query's. It just is so unprofessional.

      I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I have been dealing with some technical difficulties with a major installation and have been out of the office without access to my mail folder. Have you been sending messages to [email protected]?

      I have seen this once before and the user had to reinstall their IDE to get the ActiveX control to work properly. The only other option is to try with a different username to see if the issue is with the account itself. Can you send me a PM with your contact info and I will call you directly?
