  • What does the Desktop API consist of?

Hi all. I'm getting ready to do some development for a client who is purchasing the Desktop API. Just wondering what he will get?

Is it an ActiveX control plus some sample code? Or are all the sample on the file share page?

Does he get the ActiveX ctrl when he purchases, or just permission to use it?

I'm wondering what, if anything, he'll need to deliver to me once he purchases the Desktop API.

    Many thanks....

The ActiveX interface is built into the main eSignal application. Just installing the app installs the API. All the documentation and sample code is in the file share directory. You do not receive anything when you sign up for the API, but are permissioned to use it (under the specific username of the account).

    Cheers... George
