VB Samples don't retrieve data

I am just getting started with a new VB 6 project and thought a good place to start would be with your samples I download from your fileshare page. In particular, I am trying to run vb sample.zip.

I loaded with VB 6, checked the references (IESignal is enabled), run the program, fill in the blanks and nothing is returned. No error messages. None of the functions get data. I know my API is working because my C++ program still works fine.

Suggestions?

By the way, I am using eSignal 7.9, on XP Pro machine.
