limit on historical data?

Is there a limit on the amount of historical data I can retrieve with RequestHistory?

Does it matter if I request end-of-day vs. higher frequency bar data (1hr for ex.)?

It seems as if I cannot retrieve more than 6 months of historical high frequncy data, regardless of whether it's 30min bars, or 2hr bars. If there is such a limitation, is there a way to accomplish this via different function/api?

They are generally 6 months or 10 days for tick data. That's simply how much data is available, no matter which API function you use.

No, we do not provide tick history longer than 6 months out. It actually does not go back that far in most cases.
