esignal Control API OR desktop api ? confusion

Hi there,

I intend to use eSignal Control Dll in a custom .NET application , and access LEVEL II data to show to the user.

do i necessarily need to use the Desktop API or i can do away with the the eSignal Control API ?

also by using the desktop api , does it mean that i need to ship the eSignal applicaiton along with the my custom application using the desktop api ?

pls put some light on this.

Yes, the Desktop API is a hook into the eSignal application. The Control API is a different product all together. If you would like more information on this API, please fill out the form located in the Institutional Investor section of www.esignal.com.

Level II data is not available with the Desktop API.
