Fundamentals, 2 questions

Hello all, thanks in advance for your replies.

I am wondering 2 things:

1) Is all of the fundamental data listed here: link
available through the API?

2) Is it possible for me to query historical fundamental data? e.g. look up EPS for Intel in 1990?

Hi Kevins,

Unfortunately, we do not store fundamental data that far back, but we do provide the past 4 years of EPS data for example: INTC.

From a quote window, right click on the INTC symbol and goto RESEARCH from the menu and left click on S&P Compustat on the next sub-menu and that will provide you the past 4 years of EPS. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I may be posting in the wrong place but I am trying to do this not through the eSignal UI but through the API.

I have discovered how to access fundamentals through the eSignal UI but I can not find in the API docs if all of the same fields are available.

Yes, most if not all of the fundamental data listed is available through our API-- depending on which API you use.

Which API are you using? The Standard eSignal API, the eSignal Control API, or the eSignal Desktop API?
