What APIs support getting the option chain?

(I'm in a paradoxical situation here. I'm currently using the desktop API, so my question to support gets me refered to this forum. But I suspect the Desktop API does not support the option chain, which explains the lack of responses here.)

Are you wanting to invoke an option chain window from eSignal, or are you looking to collect data for an option root and create your own chain?

I don't need to open a window, I need to get data, so I assume I need to build it as specified. If I'm not able to get this via the desktop API, I need the lowest cost API that can do this.

You can invoke an eSignal options chain, but cannot build your own using the Desktop API. You will need to talk to our Sales department regarding pricing for the Control or Standard APIs. You can reach them at 800.835.7113. (Note, however, that these are usually only given to corporate development teams, and require an NDA as well as approval from management.)
