  • Getting a list of all active symbols for a particluar market

Using the activeX API environment. How can one get a list of all active symbols for a particular exchange?

    Thanks,
    Kip

This feature is not supported with the desktop API.

However, you can visit our symbol guide at:

I had trouble with getting more infomation on the symbol guide...

      On the page you referenced.....

To learn more about the new Symbol Search Engine, please go here:

      goes here --> http://kb.esignalcentral.com/redirect.asp?e=0
returns..... "You have reached a knowledge base portal."

no other page comes up.... can you provide me a link to get more infomation on the symbol guide.

      Thanks,
      Kip

          Alex,

Thanks for link. I have downloaded the esignal 7.9 application and used the symbol lookup tool which displays 16 stocks at a time. I am unable to find a way to transfer the symbols to a file.

The objective is to get a active stock file that I can use with my activex application.

Does the scanner application allow up to transfer symbols to a file?

          Thanks,
          Kip

As far as I know the scanner outputs only to the Quote Window
