onPlaceOrder method activation

Hi!
I would like to activate the onPlaceOrder in my application through eSignal console.
How exactly do I need to make an order, so the method would be triggered
I tried the "Integrated trading"-->"eSiganl Paper Trade" --> "Ttrade" , but nothing happens.
