Incomplete historical data requested

I use esignal desktop api. The function isvalidsymbol causes an error or not running correctly,
this could be because i have not an updated version of winsig.tlb. Another problem i have is the following one,
sometimes when i try to download historical data of different symbols esignal desktop api doesn't return any
data, although it appears in esignal application. Could you help me to resolve my problems?

After installing the latest eSignal application, you can find the latest winsig.tlb in c:\Program Files\eSignal.

You can try isValidSymbol again and let us know what the error message is. Make sure you use uppercase symbols with this function.

In terms of not getting history for certain symbols. What symbols are you working with? Which symbols are working and which are not?
