Hello Lescor and MLopez,
eSignal has no plans at this time of adding RTD servers into it farm. However we've been working on an enhancement to the existing DDE technology for eSignal, and have come to a point where we'd like some further feedback from existing DDE users.
With the acquisition of Quote.com we were able to repupose some of the tools to work with the eSingal data feed and have come up with the new DDE tool can QLINK. For more information and how to download the new QLINK Please click here.
I hope this new tool will be helpful in you trading and data collecting.

I think that this answer from Esignal is totally unacceptable and is insulting to the many ESignal users who have waited for years for a known, well performing and well documented technology (RTD) to be adopted.
Microsoft has stated that DDE is an obsolete technology that should no longer be used and one in which it no longer supports.
Actually here is what Microsoft themselves says about DDE:
What is Wrong With Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for Real-Time Data?
DDE has often been used to try to implement real-time data in Excel, but it has several limitations. Here are some of them:
DDE has a different function format from standard Excel functions.
DDE can't use cell references in a function; everything must be hard coded.
DDE gets confused when things are happening in Excel (for example, a calculation is taking place, a dialog box needs to be handled, and so on).
DDE wasn't designed for getting asynchronous data in Excel in a robust and high-performance way.
To say that you are providing an "enhanced" DDE is just a cop out from ESignals standpoint.
When is Esignal going to get with the program and provide this high performance replacement for the benefit of all ESignal users.
