automatic scan and automatic trading with IB

hi,

how i can make this idea come true:

i want to scan intraday via esignal arround 300 nyse-stocks.

all stocks, with rsi above 80 the system should buy automatically.

the broker is interactive brokers.

two days later the system should sell the stock.

i need the average-true-range(30) calculated from eod datas, too.

what kind of computer i need for this?

i have to gon step by step...

Unfortunately, development of scanning software is neither supported nor allowed.

Here are my 2 cents worth of input.
IB has a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet example.
With it you can download historical data in seconds, days,..., years. Look for the documentation file: ExcelApiBeginners.pdf from their website:

You can do calculations on the data, say the closing price.
You can get the RSI ATR equations from this site:

https://www.stockcharts.com/education

The Excel spreadsheet can execute the orders for you.
You can close the positions with it two days later.

You can only download up to 100 symbols, then one more for
each $8 dollars of commissions you generate per month.
