datafeed stoppage

When using the API to receive stocks datafeed, the program works actually OK to receive Euro stocks but when receiving US stocks, it works for 20-30 minutes and then stops. Probably, the problem isi with the quantity of stocks as we are receiving data for 300 stocks

Would appreciate your advise.

Using the Desktop API, you can only retrieve real-time streaming quotes concurrently for 50-100 symbols at most.

Thanks, Anthony! We will try to work with under 100 symbols and see if it works but stil we need to work with 300 symbols for our strategy. Could you please tell us if we can possibly obtain 3 different logins so we can start the API 3 times with 100 symbols each time

The limit of symbols you can monitor real-time quotes concurrently is an actual resource limitation on a per server basis. We recommend that you decrease the number of symbols you are watching. Or if you have 3 machines and 3 accounts, you can run instances of it separately. You can contact our support department for accounts related inquiries.
