can not get 5min historical data beyond 5 months

I can fetch historical 5-min data from VB sample program, but only for 5 months. When I change the number of bars to be fetched to 20000, it only returns the same 5-months worth of data. When I change btBARS to btDAYS and put 400 (for the number of days) with "5" still being the interval, it again returns only 5 months worth of 5-min data.

Please, let me know how to get intra-day historical data for more than 5 months! Thank you.

In general, you can only request 120 days of intraday minute bar data from eSignal and the API. See this KB article for further detail about data availability.
