I am using VB2005, but some exceptions happened. I am checking the reasons.

I posted this answer to one of Jim_CarryQuote's other threads, but in case Diana is only subscribed to this one...

VS 2005 is not supported due to problems we have found with .NET 2.0. These types of exceptions are quite common using that IDE with the Desktop API. If you want to take advantage of .NET's features, you should be fine using VS 2003.

Are there any plans in the future to support VS2005? I have a black box system already and I want to try using your real time data but it was developed in vs2005.

Also are there guaranteed problems or is there a chance if we're just looking to use the real-time prints it may work fine?

              VS2008

I have a system that was recently converted to VS2008 targetting .NET 3.5.

I'm guessing that there's no chance that eSignal will be supporting VS2008 or .NET 3.5 in the next few years?

Can someone confirm that this is a no go for say the next 3 years? We're in the process of eliminating unsupported data providers and have crossed off eSignal and just need to know if we can add you back in the future?

We're in the process of rewriting all of the API samples and testing the the differnet versions of Visual Studios. Due to some new regulations from the Exchanges this was pushed back for the time being. We currently do not have an ETA for when this will be complete. Once we have more information we will post back.
