Hi,
I have excel based code that works in xp and excel 2003 using onbarsreceived. I do not get 'onbarsreceived' events under vista and office 2007. Same code.
I've got "run as administrator" set on all the shortcuts and am running as an administrator. I'm not sure what if any settings changes I might need to make to the exe's themselves.
I've seen some discussion on this in the past here but no resolution.
Please advise, killing my key trading app.
BTW I know the request history signal is getting to esignal servers since ultimately I can recover the data by going to the cache and finding via 'ishistoryready' (or whatever that fn is called). But it is kludgey and leads to a lot of delays. Really need to get the signal back.
So bottomline is my signals go to server and data does come back but never the correct 'onbarsreceived' signal. This does happen in my code in 2003/Excel 2003.
p.s. I'm not in a position to rollback to 2003 in vista.
