vb.net 2008 + Vista

I have app running fine on XP machines. On Vista, I get error msg: "Unble to cast COM object of type IESignal.HooksClass to interface type IESignal.IHooks. There is nothing updated in your documentation about using Vista. Thanks.

Are you saying that you have the exact same code and it runs fine on XP?

I have attached the following post in regards to running the Desktop API under Vista. Please give it a try and see if the issue is resolved.

Yes, the code was exactly the same for XP and for Vista. Your solution of creating desktop shorcuts, then setting the permissions to 'Run as Administrator' did the trick. Many thanks. Ken
