  • Creating Indicators with ActiveX Kit

    hi

Im new to teh activex kit, but would like to use it for some of my own indicators...can some one please put a simple application that will extract data and do the calculation for a moving average (for example)...I can learn from there to make my own stuff.

I have loaded the samples from files share and I can see that I can collect data but I am struggling with the logic of creating an indicator that needs to calculate from past data and keep calculating with the current bars that form.

If I can see a sample of a simple ma then that will help me greatly.

    Thanks.

    regards
    Hem

Thank you for your interest in ActiveX. We don't really have the facilities here at eSignal to assist with the development of an ActiveX program, but are using this public forum for support and discussion so that users and 3rd party developers can assist each other. We hope to eventually get a repository of simple applications in the File Share group as people like yourself share ideas.

One of our engineers suggested 2 books that might help with some ideas...

"Trading Systems and Methods" by Kaufman
    "Technical Analysis Explained" by Pring

    Thank you,
