    Gene

There are a couple of ways to trade with IB via an EFS.

eSignal has a link to IB.

And there is a company with a product called DynaOrder that will issue buy sell orders to IB as well.

      IB

Just to make sure I"m clear, an IB is any broker that is integrated with Esig and there are currently several right ?

Also, still need to know if a trade can be automatically initiated with Activex without using EFS.

      thanks

The IB that he was referring to was Interactive Brokers. eSignal has a link with the Interactive Brokers API, which many of us use. You may be able to do the same with the other integrated brokers as well.

You might also want to be aware that InteractiveBrokers (IB) also has an API (ActiveX and Java). You can access information at

highlight resources at the top of the page and then select API from the popup submenu.

The same page at which you arrive includes a link to 3rd party tools that provide order mgmt.
