API Error on Win7

I have an application compiled on WinXp that run perfectly fine on Win XP Win2003 server.


But when i try to connect it to eSignal application via API a COM exception occured (image atached).

Is there are issue in esignal API if running on Windows 7.


esignal version : 10.6

There is not issue with running eSignal or the eSignal Desktop API on the Window 7 or Vista Platform.

A couple of things to make sure of when establishing your connection with the API.

1-- Run the IDE as Administrator -- "Right click and check the box to Run As Administrator"

2- "Do the same with the eSignal application"

3- Make sure you've launched and run the eSignal applicaiton at least once so that all the DLLs have been registered.

Please let us know if you continue to get this error after trying these steps.
