  • How to get running averages

I am under the impression that one of the things I can get from the eSignal History (i.e. RequestHistory[]) is a running average covering different time frames.

For example, a running average that covers the last hour or 6 hours. Is this available directly from your API or is it something I will have to accumulate and calculate myself?

    pipstrategies,

I not sure I understand your question/request for a running average. Do you mean a price indicator such as a moving average?

To better direct your requestion which eSignal API are you working with?

I am using your ActiveX Desktop API with the Delphi (Pascal) programming language.

Yes.. when I used the term "running average" I really meant a "Moving Average". Is there an API that provides access to this type of data?

Or... do I need to download your "eSignal History Data" I see that is available. See:

Can you confirm that if I want to use different moving average types of data I will need to download your history data and do the calculations myself?
