What version of VC and VB do you recommend?

I am programming in Delphi v2009 from Embarcadero Technologies. It seems that all the sample eSignal API projects are created in Microsoft Visual C++, Visual Basic or C-Sharp.

Can you tell me what version of Microsoft Visual C++ and Visual Basic you are using. I am looking to acquire a copy of MS VC++ or MS VB so I can better understand the sample projects. I am not sure which is the correct version to acquire. What would you recommend?

Hi Patrick,

You can run the VB.NET samples in the Express (free) edition of Visual Studio 2008. Note that there are samples for both VS 2008 and VS 2010. The VS 2010 samples were created in the Pro edition and I have not tested them in Express. The 2008 samples were created in Express, so those will definitely work.
