  • eSignal Symbol format for downloading with Matlab Datafeed toolbox

Have been downloading forex data via API into Matlab for several months
Now unexpectedly download failed, with message:

    Warning: Invalid symbol AUDJPY A0-FX
    > In esig.esig>esig.histtseng at 394
    In esig.esig>esig.timeseries at 368
    In AT_eSignalDataExtraction_1H_20Jan13_QualityFixer_T est at 23

The symbol decription has worked all along, and has not changed in my programme, what could be the matter?
Many thanks in advance for assistance

We have had a similar issue with the AUD A0-FX and NZD A0-FX symbols. It seems to us that eSignal may have recently limited some download availability. We were also previously able to download 5 yrs worth of some continuous commodity symbols, such as "HO #F=1". Currently, we can not get more than about the most recent 3 months of that data, depending on the frequency of trades in that symbol. You might try downloading just the last month's AUDJPY data and see if the symbol is still working for you in the first place, or whether something else is going on.
