OnQuoteChanged fires from eSignal app

Whenever I select a symbol in a quote list from within the eSignal application that is also being subscribed to from the ActiveX, the OnQuoteChanged event fires.

This means that whenever I select the symbol within eSignal, my ActiveX application thinks there is an update to the current quote.

Is this by design?

OnSymbolChanged is what should be firing when a symbol is selected. OnQuoteChanged should only fire with a new quote when RequestSymbol is used the first time, and then again every time a new quote comes through for the requested symbol if RequestSymbol was set to true. (page 3-3)

If OnQuoteChanged is being fired when a new symbol is selected in eSignal, then it sounds like a bug. Anyone else seeing this?
