Having the API doesn't change the symbol limit within eSignal. It is the Data Manger that controls the symbol count, eSignal gets its data from the Data Manager, and the Desktop API gets its data from eSignal. So essentially, it just depends on what your eSignal symbol limit is, and that varies based on your eSignal subscription level. That is correct. Once a symbol is released it will be removed from the symbol count assuming of course that it isn't being used by another application.
