Symbol Linking

Hello
Anybody know how to get the symbol thats is currecntly selected/clicked by the user from a Quote window.
I tried with GetCurrentLinkingSymbol() function which returns a symbol that i have not selected on my quote window. I am fairly new to ESignal, any descriptive and quick response will be much appreciated.

Prabhu,

GetCurrentLinkingSymbol() uses the symbol linked in the main Toolbar of eSignal. If you wish to link a Quote Window to an ActiveX application, just turn the Symbol Linking feature to the same color as the Link Box on the main Toolbar. Here's a screenshot to show how to set this up.
