Activex object deployment

Can I have the Activex object running on a different machine than my esignal is running (assuming of course I only have one subscription). I would like to do this so I don't burden the esignal display machine.

No. The ActiveX object is part of the main eSignal application and the eSignal application must be running to use the ActiveX control. If you start an app that uses the ActiveX API and the main eSignal app isn't already running, it will be automatically started.
