Symbols limit

Seems that account symbols limit may be various - someone have 200, someone 500 etc.
Is there is any legal way to know this limit from ActiveX or any other possibility to retrieve this limit into my application to prevent try to register more symbols as allowed?
Actually I need the possibility to register no more than about 2/3 of limit to allow user to add necessary symbols manually if any.

I do not believe this is currently possible via the ActiveX control and I agree that it would be a good feature to add. It falls nicely in line with another suggested addition of a ClearSymbolCache function. You might want to add this request to the We Need Your Questions & Suggestions thread.
