Editing Portflio Files

I would like to write to my portfolio files with an custom program. Has anyone tried this? I don't believe the Desktop API supports this. If I just knew the structure of the .POR files I could write it myself.

The application I am creating is used to fill in trade blotters then update the portfolio files.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Portfolio and other file formats

I have this need as well, as will other developers.

ESignal should publish the file format for portfolio files, quote windows, and if possible charts/advanced charts.

Thanks for the requests. I believe we are in the early planning stages for revamping the Portfolio & Quote Windows, so I'll pass these requests along to our Product Development Team for consideration.

Still the open issue exists. I guess I will ask my question another way:

Is it possible to please post the actual specification for the .POR files?

At this point, we don't have any documentation to give on the format of .por files, and we'll need to wait until the revamp of the Quote Window before venturing further on this.
