Hi I want to be a new API user and have to important questions:

    1. Does the API/ActiveX support Visual Basic.NET ?

    2. Can I call the eSignal API functions from our Visual Basic .NET development environment ?

    Thanks for you help.

Yes you can use the ActiveX Desktop API from VB.NET (and C++ and C#) within Visual Studio .NET.

    Cheers... George

We are an eSignal third party integrator that developed in VB.Net and used the control api versus their active X api. It worked better for what we were trying to do. Contact me if you have any questions. Hope this helps.

The Desktop API supports the .NET Framework. We are currently developing more XML-based functionality in the API to further support web applications.
