  • Where to find the OpenNewWindow and CreateNewWindow?

I am using Visual C++ for the development.

I looked into the file "winsig.tlh" generated by the #import statement for the definition of IHooks. I didn't find the methods of 'CreateNewWindow' and 'OpenNewWindow'.
The "winsig.tlb" I used is dated as 11/25/2003 and its size is 24KB. The file is packaged in eSignal Release 7.6.

Should I download any other TLB files?

    Thank you

    Jason Ruan

eSignal has not yet posted the correct winsig.tlb

I have the same problem. The 11/25/2003 winsig.tlb is the latest I have seen. Much of the recent new functionality that was specifically requested by us developers (and is in the new API appendix) came in after 11/25/2003.

I started a thread "We need latest Type Library File winsig.tlb" with a very detailed and concise description of the problem about a week ago and Robi has not even acknowledged it. Check it out for more details on the problem.

Robi? Will you respond? Its a simple problem to remedy.

      I had the same issue.

I'm using delphi, to solve it I used winsig.exe to import the active x instead of the winsig.tlb.

On delphi it worked, I hope it will work on your environment.

      Nick.
