  • How to cause symbol change in eSig from Excel?

Can anyone tell me of a way to link Excel to eSignal such that a button in Excel could cause the current symbol associated with one or more charts in eSignal to be changed?

I'd like to use Excel to maintain detailed watch lists, and then bring up the charts for a particular watch list item by pressing a button in Excel.

I'm guessing that I could become a developer, and build this myself, but that seems like a lot of work and $ just to get this one small feature. I'm hoping someone already has/sells a solution to this.

    TIA for any help.

Have you had any luck with this. There is a function called GetCurrentLinkingSymbol() and DoSymbolLink() that is what you would use to accomplish this. You're right it is relatively simple to do.

I know that some of you out there have done this.
