Accessing News using the Desktop API

Is there a way to access news using the Desktop API ?
If not: is there another way of accessing news ?
What does it cost ?

No, news headlines are currently available via the Desktop API. You may want to talk to someone at UDICo, who I know has developed something with news. We do have another API that retrieves news headlines, but is only available for commercial developers.
