Backtesting Report - Detailed Equity Curve

I am probably being dense here but I cannot see what the detailed equity curve represents. There seems to be no correlation between the detailedcurve and the actual profit generated by th etrading strategy. Can anyone explain please?

I'm not sure if you are using one of the pre-built strategies or one of your own. It's tough to decipher the Detailed Equity Curve without a chart of the curve itself. Either way, here is a short article from the eSignal Knowledge Base that breaks down the different types of graphs in the Strategy Analyzer.
